Happiness - Enjoy the holidays with friends and family! Reflect on the great things you achieved in 2011 and what you look forward to in 2012.
Outside - If the weather cooperates, do something together outside! Build a snowman, go ice skating, take a walk.
Listen - Your body will tell you when it’s full if you take the time to listen. Have that tasty holiday cookie or cocktail, but just remember to stop when your body tells you.
Indulge - Indulge responsibily. It may be tradition in your home to have a big feast for dinner or special desserts. You may have a gathering every night for the next week. Don’t skip out on all the great treats! Pick and choose your favorites and stick to small sample sizes so that you don’t go too far, but do enjoy!
Drive - Keep motivation up by establishing a few holiday goals and working towards those every day!
Active - Stay active during the holidays. Make sure you have time planned for exercise!
You - Don’t forget to give to yourself during this holiday season. Give yourself the gift of a healthy lifestyle and happiness during the holidays and all year long.
Sleep - Make sure to get plenty of sleep during the holidays. Don’t let yourself get completely worn down and susceptible to illness. Get restful sleep so that you can enjoy all the busyness of the holidays - time for family and friend activities, traveling, cooking, celebrating and eating.
